Personally, I'd say that Masters programmes were a natural progression from your final year of undergraduate studies. There is plenty of time to do extra curricular actvities and nights out. Some people also have a part-time job too! We aren't chained to our desks... we're just normal students and do everything a normal undergrad would do.

Honestly, if you come straight from your final year (I assume you're at uni now?), I don't think you'll find it a massive step up... it's just a natural move up... like its harder in the second year than the first year, then it's harder in the third year than the second year.
