English Language Coursework: Theories on Women's Language

I'm trying to get started on my language investigation for my A2 coursework, and I've decided I want to do it on how and why women's language has changed over time (maybe over the last 30 years).

What I need are some recent theories that I could reference. I am already looking into Cameron's 'verbal hygiene' theory and will also probably reference the dominance and difference theories, but are there any others I should research?

What I'm expecting to find is that, over time, there has become less and less of a 'Women's English', and that the differences between the way men and women speak are much less obvious than they were 30 years ago.

I want to look mostly into what has affected the change in the way women speak.

It's a bit vague at the minute, but I'd appreciate some kind of advice or feedback on this idea.

Thanks!
