Someone on the SS forum said the Poundstone shake is actually alright, and I have had it in my head to try one ever since.

It's just chicken and water.

I think if the chicken taste isn't too prominent it would be A LOT nicer to add something to it to have a sweet taste or whatever. Like a bunch of strawberries or some Nesquik or whatever.
I watched Pain and Gain. It was trying to be a comedy but Michael Bay can't do comedy. It was a bit of a creepy movie, in that it was portrayed in such a way that the audience should sympathise with those goofy bodybuilders. I didn't understand that bit because they were basically brutal killers (who else chops a body in to pieces?).

It reminded me a little of the Menendez brothers movie, but obviously that film was creepier and done with a much more serious tone.

I know what it is.....

The guy said it tasted kind of like cold chicken soup. Strawberries and Nesquik would be the last thing I want to add.
Why not just use protein powder and milk?
I use that as well!

I don't really like sweet things very much though. I always assumed it was disgusting but if it really is a palatable savoury shake I might use it a lot. Can't hurt to try.

Did widow maker squats today with 70, and can squat 100x5.

Anyone else find that the step from 70 to 80 is huge compared to 60 to 70 or 80to 100. For some reason 80 and above just feels heavy on my back...

I feel that too, but 80 is basically my max right now.

The upside of 3 months with no lifting is I fit in nice jeans again.

Have any of you guys resorted to drilling extra holes in your belt? Does it compromise the belt in any way? What's the best way to go about it without the ends flailing around - doing this on my own?

I know a guy who did it, just use an electric drill and it doesn't affect the belt in any way.

Coldplay - The Bro Scientist

Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry
You don't know how knowledgeable you are
I had to find you, tell you I need you
Tell you dirty carbs/fats are damaging my heart

Tell me your secrets and let me ask you fitness questions
Oh let's go back to the start
Checking your timetable, chasing your tails
Coming to your house in a cart

Nobody said it was easy
It's such a shame for us to fart
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said we couldn't eat this much lard
Oh, let's cut out dairy and go back to the start

I was just guessing at macros and figures
Breaking your diet apart
Questions of biology, muscle building and progress
Do not speak as loud as my farts

Tell me you agree with me, come back and hug me
Oh and we rush to the toilet and fart
Sitting in different cubicals, talking about our fails
Never coming back as we are

Nobody said it was easy
Oh it's such a shame for us to fart
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be so hard

Ooooohhhhhhh
we all know who this is....
