A question about taking 4 advanced highers

I'm planning on applying for PhysPhil at Oxford this year. I was going to do 4 advanced highers this year: Physics, Maths, Mechanics and English. I know the workload could be too much and had planned on dropping English if necessary, so I was wondering if this would effect my application. I know that Oxford usually give out conditionals on the basis of 3 advanced highers, would they ever give one out for 4? And if I were to get a conditional for AAA, would getting AAAB or doing badly in one of the 4 (other than Maths or Physics) effect my application? thanks :smile:
