Dog biscuits vs cheese crackers

Timmy's my Samoyed. He's lately got himself hooked onto cheese crackers. Usually I'm the one who eats them (with cheddar) but these days he usurps them. Is it OK for dogs to eat cheese crackers? I hear cheese crackers give dogs tummy trouble, but he's been wolfing them down every teatime for a week now and doesn't show any signs of colic (yet). He refuses to eat his usual dog biscuits. He used to be crackers about them (pun) but now he isn't. The dog biscuits are different flavours so he shouldn't be bored of them. I don't want to deprive him of cheese crackers because he really does like them.
My question: Is it OK for dogs to consume cheese crackers? Thanks.

I don't know much about dogs but I meant to go to the food and drink forum and thought it was you eating dog biscuits :O

Samoyeds are gorgeous though, you are lucky!
