Got an invite today to interview with Glasgow on the 18th December! Brushing up the skills :smile:

I was on the waiting list last year so I'm hoping a better interview will be all I need.

thanks for the reply. I have done a lot of research and i did know that right now I only really meet the requirement for Liverpool. I will try and improve my grades but I very much regret that I can improve maths, so if I can do sociology without it completely ruining my chances of veterinary then that would be great. At the end of the day, you only need one offer, so don't give up! Get your head down and try and drag some of those grades up to an A to make them up to 5, and even then, if the A's are not in the subjects they want, you'll still have 5 so it's worth a shot! You have enough time to really work at your exams and bring your grades up.

Vet med is a very exam based degree, and you have to be in the right mind set to go into it. But if it's what you've always wanted to do, it's possible to achieve. For Liverpool, yes you need those grades but if you work at your work experience too, you'll be a better overall candidate. I never got brilliant grades at school, and I'm a second year at Liverpool now, so if vet med is what you want to do, you go get it and you work hard to get there, and it will pay off

I applied Glasgow, RVC, Bristol and Nottingham 6 year programme.

I've been rejected from Bristol and gotten an interview with Glasgow.. Just waiting on RVC and Notts :smile:

No they did not state why I was rejected! Yeah my predicted grades potentially exceeded the requirements really so it's kinda confusing haha! Yeah fingers crossed! I can't believe Liverpool and Surrey haven't started sending interview offers out yet, although I suppose it is still early!
