I am on a gap year, personally, as I am reapplying as I got better A2 grades than my performance at AS might have indicated.

Privileged? No.

Sensible, and getting into the best university I can? Yes.

Hey, can I ask you a quick question please? I think I'm in the same situation as you. Did you take a gap year because your AS grades/predicted grades weren't what you needed to get into certain unis, or that they reflected what you could get.

Also did you also do any AS-resits?

For any of the above, did it affect you chances of getting into a uni? Did unis ask you why you took any AS-resits? Did they mind?

If you try to write journal of what you are thinking on current issues, or past or whatever, you will find out soon what you need to do. or maybe publish your journal :biggrin:
