Using tri state buffers as logic gates

Hello!

The question is to draw the circuit which performs the function of AND, OR, NAND, NOR and NOT gate, by using only tri state buffers and resistors.

I have no idea on how to do it. Starting with the simplest, i.e a NOT gate. When the control input of the buffer is 0, the buffer is in the high impedance mode, i.e either way the output will be 0. And when control input is high, either way, the output will be equal to the input. What can be done to make it equivalent to a not gate? :s-smilie:

And so on. . .

Any help would be appreciated!
