Practicing law abroad.

Basically, I'll be starting my final year of my law degree this october, and had earlier intended to do an LPC and eventually become a solicitor.

However, I have now decided I would like to move to a country like Holland, and work as a solicitor there.

Does anyone know how the system as to training/admission works there?

Would it be better for me to move after my degree or should I also do the LPC?

Any kind of help on the issue would be appreciated.

Take a look at: http://www.lawsociety.org.uk/professional/practisinginother.law. It provides links to websites that'll give you specific information for different countries.

Thanks for that, it provided some useful info.

However, it only has information on the post-qualification stage.

Does anyone have any info on what the situation would be before and after the LPC stage?
Sorry no, the best way would be to contact a law school in that country and enquire how it works. Good luck mate!
