access to higher education, online?

I have a question to you all and hope someone know the answer :smile:

i live in germany and have the equivalent of alevels ( german abitur) . the problem is , my grades aren't high enough for universities i want to apply to.
I'm considering doing an access to higher education course to improve my grades. i am wondering if its possible to do an access to higher education course online so I dont have to move to the UK for one year?

Distancelearningcentre.com offers distance access courses but I'm not sure if you have to be resident in the UK, I don't think you do considering it's online lol but contact them and see what they say.
