Labour MP extraordinary tirade against EU calling them Nazi's & attack on Miliband

Labour MP Austin Mitchell launches scathing attack on the EU and Labour party on twitter. Think he may be in the wrong party

He calls the EU Nazi's comparing Juncker to Hitler and insinuating they are working to wards the same aims, he also warns the EU will try and ban UKIP, he also used Nazi termiology to describe David Cameron for not being able to stop Juncker election and said Juncker damaged the EU because of Luxembourg tax fiddling. He also launched an attack on Labour pro Europeans saying the line that 3 million jobs will be lost was nonsense.

And all this was only 1 day after Ed Balls live on Andrew Marr said Labour were united in their support of the EU

Thoughts?

Politicians should be banned from Twitter. It gets them into too much trouble.
Although I am by no means a UKIP supporter, I cannot help but conclude that this story would be far more prominent in the media if Austin Mitchell was a member of that particular party that shares his view of the EU....

Idiot. Anyone who compares X to Hitler has seriously ran out of ideas and should shut up.
If Austin Michel was in UKIP this story would be receiving front-page coverage in every single newspaper for the next month. Every party leader would be jumping on the bandwagon to say how deplorable and vile UKIP is, plants would be sharpening their tongues to ambush a UKIP member on Question Time, Anna Soubry would be thinking up insults, the Feminists would be desperately trying to find a way to spin it so it reads UKIP hates women and UKIP posters would further be defaced. It would be a field day for the BBC and Sky.

So true.
Rather be a Nazi than a communist any day. Communist is a lie, all it did was create a class of rich Jewish oligarch dictators while the poor were put into work camps.Anti-Nazi's are the most disgusting hypocrites in the world when they ave no idea the evil they were fighting against.

Indeed. But Mitchell (who changed his name to Haddock briefly) and a few Labour MPs have always been Eurosceptics.
The combination of Twitter and proximity to strong liquor can be lethal.

Or stupidity and labour party membership forms
Old guard Labour politicians are quite eurosceptic. Dennis Skinner comes to mind.
Looking at wiki he has been knocking around long enough to have been part of Labour in its anti EU period so while he is obviously just looking for attention it doesn't make him completely incompatible with the party
