Not sure if troll or not, it's in a humans biology to want a attractive mate; to you attractiveness means that the guy looks cute (among other things i'm sure)

when you say "psychology", you could be talking about a variety of things.

however everything does seem to stem from evolutionary tendancies to prefer a more physically attractive male.
a more attractive face (i.e: a "more perfect" face) signifies good health, vitality etc...
from an evolutionary view, we have a predisposition to like physically attractive people simply because attractive = healthy = better genes.

in a modern world, we are much more conscious of oour thought processes, we're much more individual. we are still influenced by these evolutionary tendancies, but we also have the ability to discount them and search for other partners.

i could go on but i think i've displayed how much of a nerd i am already...
