Prosthetics and Orthotics

Are there really only two universities in the UK that offer this course (Salford and Strathclyde)? Is there any other way to become a prosthetist? Could you go down the physiotherapist route and in that way?? I really would like to go into the prosthetic sector of health care? What would you suggest i do with my other 3 options. (London based, I wasn't looking to go too far, but apparently, its Manchester or Scotland!!)

I've moved your thread into a more appropriate forum. Hopefully you should get some answers here.
