student finance and exception courses

so ive just been told i failed year one at uni on criminolgy and i already used my extra year at a different uni before dropping out? what options do i have as i dont have the funding to do a extra year so is there any exception coruses that would accept me? that id be able to get full funding for ? or is my only option doing a accelerated course that can be completed in 2 years?

Full-time exception courses:

graduate entry medicine and dentistry
postgraduate pre-registration healthcare
subjects allied to medicine
initial teacher training
architecture

'subjects allied to medicine' tend to be the Allied Health Professions:

Chiropody
Dental hygiene (Honours degree, diploma or foundation degree)
Dental therapy (Honours degree, diploma or foundation degree)
Dental hygiene and dental therapy (Joint or dual honours)
Dietetics
Dietetics and nutrition*
Midwifery (Degree Level)
Nursing (Degree Level)
Nursing and social work** (Dual honours)
Occupational therapy
Operating department practice (Degree or diploma level)
Orthoptics
Physiotherapy
Podiatry
Prosthetics and Orthotics
Radiography
Radiotherapy
Speech and language therapy

And for part-time study (the document I got this from was last updated Jan 2022):

Medicine and Dentistry
Subjects allied to medicine
Biological and Sport Science
Psychology
Veterinary Sciences

Hi. I stopped nursing halfway cause of health issues. I would like to start bcs degree in herbal medicine at Lincoln college. Will it be accepted as health allied course? Or do I have to go through exceptional reasons as hunt my old doctors for letters?

I very much doubt herbal medicine qualifies as an AHP course, but you can ask an SFE adviser to confirm this on the following forum. Don't forget to give your uni name and course and then they can check the database:
