Graphic design Student or anyone HELP?

Hi, I have been given a project to do over the summer, one of the tasks is to make your own drawing mechanism, I have no idea what this means or how to even start one, can ANYONE help???

Hey I think it's things such as rulers, protractors, compasses, set squares just google it! They are asking you to design something which will effectively guarantee a good out come; eg a ruler helps draw straight lines :smile:
