Failed ACA exams - need help

Hi guys,

I am thinking to apply for the graduate scheme in top 10 accounting firms, but I am very worried that my previous bad ACA record will have a negative impact on my application.

I have no work experience so far, and I passed all E-Assessment except one, which I failed twice (though passed it the third time). I've heard that accounting firms have their strict rules and do not like people failing.

I do not mind to start over. I wonder if it's possible to remove my records from the ACA database completely, so I could start again from the beginning in the future (e.g. register a new student number) ?

Many thx!
So you did these exams outside of a training contract? I thought that wasn't possible.

No I don't think this will reflect badly on you, if anything it should put you ahead. However at least in the Big Four it won't be seen as a huge advantage, might be different in the smaller firms.
