Extended Project Qualification (Edexcel) Help

Hi, I am currently stuck for ideas on my EPQ, my idea is going to be based on Computing. I originally had an idea to either create an Anti-Virus Program or a Virus but it seems like one's illegal and the other one requires a license. Any ideas or help please

I'm in the same position, don't know what to do for my computing-related EPQ, I wasn't sure if universities however would like to see actual specific programming in the EPQ, I thought they might prefer theory work or something like that.

I'm pretty certain that creating an anti-virus program would be insanely hard? If you're capable of programming anti-virus software, I would imagine you can do pretty much anything.
