Bit of an essay coming up but I would appreciate any advice.
I finished my A Levels last year and got ABB. I took a gap year and worked during that time. I decided to retake a few modules but when I received an unconditional offer from Reading University I accepted it and did not do any retakes.
As the time is getting closer to go, I'm having second thoughts about going to Reading. I would ideally like to go into investment banking / consultancy but Reading is not a target uni for those jobs.
So should I take another year out and retake the modules I intended to and apply to other universities? Or should I just stick with Reading and hope for the best? Do the top 20 universities frown upon retakes?
