How many questions do you have to get right on the TSA?

Would 36-37 make the cut ?

Hey, just giving this thread a little bump in the hopes someone will see it and reply

Have you found University Connect yet? It's super useful for finding other people on your course/at your university!
Its not as simple as that im afraid. They use the Rasch model to calculate scores so it is not as clear cut as X/total score.
Scores are marked relating to difficulty with the average around 50%, only 10% of applicants get anywhere near 70%.

They tweak it quite a bit every year using that Rasch modelling system above... The system works so that an average applicant will gain a score of 60 out of 100: the lowest raw mark to achieve this score was 30 out of 50 last year and the highest was 36  of course if you're doing a more competitive subject that uses the TSA to narrow the applicants (PPE or E&M) you might be looking at getting closer to 65-70, which was about 35-40 raw marks last year

I got in for Geography on the back of a score of 61.9, which was 32 raw marks
Last year the cut off for ppe was 61 which was 32. If you get above 38 you should be called for interview.

Hi, just wondering what your sources were for what you said about raw marks needed for certain scores. Thanks

There's the PDFs for past TSAs, as well as the answer scheme and a score converter  the score converter shows what your raw mark was when changed to a score out of 100
