Anyone applying to Exeter Cornwall Campus? I got an unconditional offer for English, and it's now a choice between Exeter Cornwall and Nottingham. I liked both unis, but Falmouth is such a lovely place! It's super far from me though, so that's my biggest worry :/

Hey yeah I've got an offer for Marine Biology at the Cornwall campus  absolutely love the look of the place and the course modules but I've got the same worry - it's about 10 hours each way if I want to go home at all and really pricey, then there's the fact the accommodation and cost of living is so much higher too :/ I really love it though so I'm torn.
Seeing all these history offers is making me so worried. I applied on the 10th October for early entry and all I got was an email receipt on the 13th and a postcard... :frown: :frown:

Got an offer for Biological Sciences- AAB!! I love Exeter, they're my second choice after St Andrews :h:

Congratulations! I'm applying for this, but not sent my form off yet

What specialism do you think you will take, if any?

Well done! 10 hours is a killer journey, it's about the same for me if I go on coach, although I'd probably use it as hardcore reading time :L It is pricier and there seems to be less finance as a lot of the bursaries are for the Cornish students, but I love it so much! Arghhh, how to decide? :P
Got an offer for BA Economics on Tuesday - AAA, sent my application off 6 weeks before.

Sent off my UCAS Monday for English Lit and Exeter was one of my options, I'd love to get in! Just wondering who else had applied and for what course:smile:

Connect to University of Exeter here! You'll be able to see other applicants' grades and offers. If you enter your details it will be really helpful for other people applying. :h:

Why Exeter, out of interest? Is it because you want to go to a good uni in a peaceful city that doesn't have many bars and clubs, and therefore may attract a higher class of student?
I've had three offers from my back up uni's for Geography BSc: Bristol, Exeter and King's (all AAB), still waiting for LSE and Durham!

Thank you!! At the moment I don't think I will take a specialism, but I definitely wouldn't rule it out yet  What about you? And where else are you applying?

That is a pretty formidable cluster of universities. Very lucky position to be in. Which one is your top choice out of LSE and Durham? I'd probably choose LSE, if you like the big city environment.

Yeah I've got an offer of AAA. It took me a couple of weeks to come through
Got a conditional for History (v100) a few weeks ago, A*AA though! I like Exeter but not an A*AA amount - still waiting from LSE, Durham, St Andrews and Oxford

[high fives] I got my Biology offer a few days ago too! Did you apply for a year in industry/year abroad?

I've asked TSR to look into it.

Thank you!! I live in London, so the big city aspect is fine (although I do doubt I'll get in). With Durham I'm worried about the class of student that goes there (I attend private school but would like to escape that environment). I'd probably be more swayed too to LSE for the name.

[high five] woo well done! I didn't because the entry requirements were higher and I was really worried about getting any offer with my AS levels :/ I spoke to the study abroad people and I believe they allow you to transfer onto the study abroad once you're there, so I'll definitely be looking at that!
What about you?
Haven't even received acknowledgement of my application yet.
