RAF University Air Squadron female dress code

Hi,

I have been invited to the Christmas formal dinner and I know there is quite a strict dress code. I have bought a floor length black dress and will wear a shawl to cover my shoulders during the dinner. The only thing I am worried about is the side-split that goes to about mid-thigh length. I just want to check it'll be ok :smile:

I would ask my boyfriend, but he isn't exactly clued up on this kind of stuff!

Tell your boyfriend to ask his CO. You are probably fine but that doesn't detract from what he should be doing, which is checking on your behalf so that you are not uncomfortable. Give him a kick!
