UCLan accommodation - can you pick a room

I'm starting UCLan in September and I'm currently thinking Bowran House/Boatman's Court or Pendle Hall, and I was wondering if you could pick a specific room or if they simply allocated you one?
Also, if anyone's stayed in either before, what're they like?

They simply allocate you one. You can put on the application if you want single sex, en-suite or anything like that (if your accommodation does that) but after that, you're not even definitely going to get your preferences anyway so.

Hopefully you'll get what you want, but they will ultimately allocate you.

Hi if you are interested in a shared flat I Need a replacement for a room, Full deposit already payed (£175),

It is a 4 Person Flat in Shuttleworth Road via Bellvue. This is about 10/15mins from University Buildings and main highstreet.

Rent is £84.90 a month term of 45 weeks starting 1st September.

The other three tenants are two guys and one girl. I am leaving as I am changing University's.
