A few questions

Hey folks
I'm moving to Leicester as a mature student (23) and I had a few questions that I wanted to get closed

Will I be the odd one out in my flat not being 18/19

Will it be strange that i won't be drinking much and going for jogs and to work instead

Will it be harder to make friends because of the age gap

Will I miss out on the social life because of working in my first year

I'm sure I have more but that will do for now 👍

Hey, I would say it's not much to worry about, in my accommodation I'm friends with two people ages 21 and 23 (whilst I was 18, now 19), no one particularly notices age differences, and they definitely wont care if you're older.
There's a mature students social club that you could also join, and I have many first year friends who would skip out on going out in order to go to work, it's normal!

I started when I was 23 and in all honesty, you have nothing to worry about. Around 75% of my university class group are people aged 20 (were 18 at the start), then there is myself, now 25 and some other mature students who are 35+. When I first started I felt like the
