So I'm thinking of doing a history degree, so I'm working on my knowledge of British history and I know literally nothing about the really early bit, e.g. around the years 800-1000. I was wondering if anyone knew any historical fiction from this period or decent articles that weren't like walking through treacle? It would be a great helo
