Both of them require users to promote their lives in a positive way.
Snapchat: mostly (not always) posting on your story when your life is at its best.
Instagram: posting the best selfie of you and your mates, wanting to get a decent amount of likes.
Although I prefer snapchat because we are allowed to post stupid snaps
But I have neither anymore haha
