I'm a 17 yr old girl and still a virgin

The fact that the word 'still' is in that sentence is worrying. Did you think you'd lose your virginity when you were 10 or something?:colonhash:

Surely there are far more important things to worry about than losing your virginity at this age

I'm a 17 yr old girl and still a virgin, I'm not embarrassed by it now but am wondering if people at uni next year will think its weird because i'll most likely still be a virgin then. I wasn't worried about it until someone at school said it was unusual and weird. are there still virgins at university????

Yes there are many

Wow how unusual to have not had sex at the age of 17.
For the people who supposedly lost it at 15/16/17/18, or b4 you went to uni. Who did you lose it with? A guy/girl from school, someone from a club outside of school, over fb/insta/sc, random from nightclub? Reason I ask is at that age, you don't really have many opportunities to socialise with people not from your school that you don't have to see everyday. I'm starting uni next yr but don't really talk to anyone not from my sixth form or relating activities, so was wondering how I could meet people I don't know and from where, to widen my social circle and possibly build lasting relationships.

yes, i will be there
18 going to 19 and still a virgin. But I really won't be losing it anytime soon or ever.
Every one speaking like losing your virginity is like a race, it's not. Please don't feel pressurised into doing something you don't want to do if even all your friends are doing it. At the end of the day they're not going to be the one who's in your body so if you think you'll regret it and aren't sure before having sex, don't do it. Being a virgin at 16 or even 25 is not a big deal and if you aren't, that doesn't matter either as long as you're both consenting, safe and you're 100% sure that this is what you wanna do.

I lost mine to a girl I met in a club I'd just turned 16 a few weeks earlier.

It really isn't a race just let it happen naturally
