when is the *actual* deadline?
so teachers say its like 15th october but apparently thats only for people doing medicine and law, and its more relaxed for people doing other stuff. So when is it actually?
the 15th Oct deadline is for people who have interviews in December/January (normally Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry and Oxbridge applicants). This is to give the universities time to decide which applicants to interview and to get all of the interviews done in time. I don't know if it's changed this year but last year the deadline for all other applications was 15th January - bear in mind though that the sooner you send off your application the sooner you can (hopefully!) receive offers and relax a bit.
15 th January. But if your college has an earlier internal deadline you'll need to stick to that in order for your teachers to have time to check your application, write your reference etc
