Absolute quality website m9

Used it in GCSE and convinced my college to get it for A-level. So helpful in my opinion.

Nah GCSE

Why is it ^3 and not ^-3? I thought you add them, and -6+3= -3?

12a^-3 = 12/a^3

the question was simplify, and the latter is taking the simplification a step further by not leaving the power as a negative.
Also, strong comprehension

I saw it ages ago but can't remember liking it. It's not the sort of thing I'm interested in. I like films with storylines you get really into which is why I liked Into The Wild and Shawshank Redemption. If it helps, some other films I am a fan of are:

Boyz N The Hood
A Clockwork Orange
The Joy Division film which I've forgot the name of, about Ian Curtis
Goodfellas

Maybe a couple more. I have been meaning to watch Reservoir Dogs, that's a Tarantino film I think. But I had it on once and turned it off after about twenty minutes lol.

Only seen Goodfellas from those four but that's in a very well populated genre. The Godfather(s), Scarface, Casino and The Untouchables come to mind as similar films I've seen, but I'm not massively into them and think Goodfellas is actually the best. The Usual Suspects is a bit different but definitely worth a watch. The Departed is very very good as a modern gangster film, and City of God is one of my favourites (it's set in Brazilian favelas which makes it a bit different). Would hugely recommend Snatch and Lock Stock though, British gangster films and very funny.

Yeah Reservoir Dogs is Tarantino, I think it's pretty good but not his best. He might not be for you though, he's a bit of a love/hate director.

Thx pal, will repay with free dentures

For 3a) because it's 8^2, wouldn't it be (2^3)^2 which gives 2^6? So 2^6 x 2^-3= 2^3? Or does it not work like that

What did you make of The Godfather? I really liked Goodfellas cos it doesn't take long for the story to kick in so you're well into it early on, Godfather is what three hours long?
Godfather was GOAT.
Lol'd so hard when Sonny beat Carlo with a trash can.

What kind of place do you have?
Like is it a studio or one-bedroom?

When I move to Leeds next year, I'm unsure on which to get. Price isn't really an issue but it would be nice to have a little more space. Before moving out and in my first two years of uni, my room has been minuscule. Only in my final year did I have a big room and let me tell you the difference is huge.
Plus, if I were to have people round on occasion, I'm not sure I'd be too thrilled to have my bedroom area on display.

I'm probably leaning towards a one-bedroom but I think I'd probably take a look at what it's like in the city-centre and make a decision based on what I see.

I have a studio but the rents here are extortionate, they're much cheaper in Leeds. I had 3 days to find a place so basically took the first thing going. Just see what's affordable I guess.

I think when I relocate I'll get a houseshare at first to try and meet people. Really want to move back to Manchester but if I did I'd never see any of my friends again, especially my closest friend in Cornwall, so I want to move closer to them

Not a massive fan but I watched it straight after reading the book which might not have helped. I've got nothing against long films (LOTR ffs :coma:), I've been meaning to rewatch it for ages now but just haven't got round to it.

Ahhh right, bit of a mad rush for you then.
How do you feel living in a studio has been different from your previous homes? I like the idea of one open space but in reality I feel like you'd get more rooms and more furnishings in a one-bedroom. Plus it would separate your sleeping area and make things a little more private if people came around.

Hahahaha after living with students for 3 years, the last thing I wanted was a house share. They're good for people who are a little messy/inconsiderate but I'm the kind of person that spends more time cleaning up after everybody else than myself, so living alone would definitely be easier.

A little nervous about moving somewhere new since I don't really know anybody in Leeds, but the reality is that I'm only gonna be there for a year to do my masters and who knows how things will go afterwards.
