Been offered a free space at Gap Medics?

Hey

Basically I want to do medicine and am currently studying my first year of A levels. My school is offering to pay the full or most of the price of a Gap Medics placement for me and a few other students. I'm really excited for it but I don't know much about it.

Can anyone whose been on it please share your thoughts and experiences, and also how much of an impact it made on your UCAS/application for medicine? Do unis like it?
I haven't been given a date yet, nor a country.

I've never been, but it's a great thing to have down on your UCAS. You're very lucky to be given such an opportunity, and if I were you, I'd take it before it goes!
