cautioned at 17

I was cautioned for petty theft when I was 17, this is the only time i have been in trouble with the police it was completely out of the ordinary to act in this manner. Now that I am 18 would I be able to join the police force.

Hi I think you can, this is what they say (the police):

although you may still be eligible to join the police service if you have minor convictions/cautions, there are certain offences and conditions that will make you ineligible. If you are at all unsure, contact your chosen force for more information
