Chemosynthesis & Anaerobic Respiration - Biology

Hey, I was reading about extremophiles and how some can live in area with high salt content, pressure, temperature and even oxygen deprivation. Then came along these words "Chemosynthesis" and "Anaerobic respiration". How do these help them adapt to these extreme conditions?

*Anaerobic respiration causes lactic acid?*
anaerobic repiration happens when an organism respires without oxygen
so when u respire normally it is called aerobic respiration and oxygen is used in it

in anaerobic there is no oxygen and glucose is broken down in to lactic acid
