Edexcel IGCSE Biology | PAPER 2

I’m feeling okay although I’m not sure what topics would come by any chance does anyone have an idea of topics they think would come ?

These are all the topics that came up in paper 1:

Characteristics of living organisms
Bacterial disease in humans, plant virus (TMV)
Structure of viruses and bacteria
Food chains and webs
Bacteria and fungi – energy from organic matter
Pesticides
Plant cell structure
Surace area to volume ratio
Red blood cells (distilled water/concentrated salt solution – osmosis)
Reflex arc
Nerve impulses, stimuli, motor neurons, sensing pain
Components of the nervous system
Components of blood
White blood cells and immunity (phagocytes)
Anaemia, blood flow, percentage oxygen saturation of blood
Genetic diagram – genotypes, gametes
CORMMS – seed and flower experiment
Effect of temperature on the activity of lipase
Graph plotting
Yeast and anaerobic respiration, fermenters
Antibiotic resistance
Genetically modified bacteria
Role of insulin, Diabetes

So, I would suggest that you keep on revising all the content, but maybe with a greater emphasis on topics that are yet to appear such as Human Nutrition, Transpiration, Breathing, The Heart, Excretion, Osmoregulation, Homeostasis, Protein synthesis, Mitosis and Meiosis, Reproduction, Carbon and Nitrogen Cycles, Pollution and Cloning, etc.
