STEP is ridiculously difficult - moreso than any pre-Uni stuff I've ever seen.

For Oxbridge, you need all of this and 1,1 in step, and you NEED to impress in the interview.

Erm... Olympiad?

STEP is hard compared to other pre-uni exams but I think "ridiculously difficult" is a bit strong!

Never looked at the Olympiad, plus that's voluntary. I personally pulled out of my maths application when I realised I didn't actually like it much :p:

STEP is hardly compulsory for all! I know it can be part of your offer but then applying to unis that require it is voluntary.

Anyway. People who do the Olympiad don't volunteer to do the Olympiad. They're born to do the Olympiad! :eek:
