OCR Results

Hey, Just wondering what those of you who did OCR P3 and M2 exams in July got seen as the papers were unusually harsh.

I got:
P3 - D (52/100)
M2 - A (88/100)

i got 100/100 in P3, and even though i knew i only lost 2marks out of 60 in the paper, it was a really hard paper and had to be scaled up by at least 10% or thereabouts.

all the papers i did this year were probably the hardest OCR has done for this new syllabus as well (P3, P4, M1), but that sometimes makes it easier because a lot of people would do badly so there would be ridiculous scaling

I did OCR M2 and got 92/100, did P3 last yr and got 100/100.

P3 - 100/100, but i loved the paper anyway and cant really think of any mark i'd have lost. everyone else i spoke to hated it. despite the scalings, most still got around 40 or 50

M2 - 82/100 - a low A, but im happy with it considering i only answerd 60% of the marks available on the paper.

another that i was surprised about was P5 - i got 90/100 even though i only answered half of the last two questions when my mind went blank!!

also M3, thought it was quite a nice paper but got 88 when i expected a little higher.

p1 - 92
s1 - 92
m1 - 90

This year:
s2 - 89
p1 - 89
p3 - 60

I was soooooooo relieved about my p3 results, i was so worried id got like 2 marks or something.

got 97 in M3, was secretly hoping for 100%, but don't give a damn because I'MSAGOINGTOCAMBRIDGE-WAHOOI. :smile:

M2- 60 - I was expecting lower because I messed up the exam so much! Definitely retaking in January.
P3- 100 - I think this must have been a hard paper as I didn't quite finish and I know I got a couple of answers wrong but still got full UMS.

I got 95/100 on the P3 and 100/100 on the M2 but i think this was more to do with the high UMS than any particular performance on my part!

lol me too!! the first half of the paper was fine! I'm there like "whoa! I'm kicking ass!"
Then it got to that vectors question....and it was downhill from there...
Crash. and. burn.

Why did you retake p1 after getting 92 in it? Or can I safely assume you mean you got 89 in p2 :biggrin:
