Im going to do a HND law course...and i have put no for the following

Relevant criminal convictions are only those convictions for offences against the person, whether of a violent or sexual nature, and convictions for offences involving unlawfully supplying controlled drugs or substances where the conviction concerns commercial drug dealing or trafficking.

Just to get it off my mind driving offences do not count do they?

No, not if the definition of relevant convictions is correct.
Depends what the driving offence is for, generally no.

dangerous driving? reason im asking is a job had said originally that they do not count driving offences but this time they would because of probabtion?
If in doubt tell them everything. If they are not interested they will disregard it. If they are interested you have not opened yourself up to the risk of expulsion.

If you have appeared in court and were convicted of a driving offence (rather than paid a fixed penalty eg for speeding) then that does count as a conviction and probably should be declared in this case. The best way to be sure is to check with the admissions department giving them the specific details of your case so that they can advise you. The last thing you want to do is to not declare it and then find that your application is invalidated as a result.
