The Keaton Jones viral bullying video shows how fickle people are

One minute people are gushing over him, celebrities are posting on Twitter inviting him to premieres, etc.

The next minute people find some social media posts by his mother, and then his whole family (including him by association) are hounded.

It's crazy how fickle people can be. Trying to protect this kid from bullying then intentionally or inadvertently becoming his bullies.
Ah, when were humans not fickle?

Poor kid..
People fall for fads very easily. I immediately felt for the kid when I saw the video but wasn't about to fall for that GoFundMe nonsense. It looked dodgy that the mum was getting money because her son was bullied. A little disturbing, like she was using him.

Then the news came out about her social media and I remembered why I don't fall for fads.
Bullying is a necessary evil.

People aren't fickle. They were sympathetic until they found out 2 things:

- mom is fan of conservative hate groups. That flag on her page kinda spells it out so clearly you'd had to be dead not to see it.

- mom is hoping to cash in on the sympathy for the kid.
