Given that p>0 and q>0, show that loga(pq) =loga(p) loga(q) Pretty stuck here.Just wondering if anyone could shed any light on this?

You mean log a (p) + log a (q)?
It ultimately is simply rules of indices for multiplying powers with the same base, but from a different perspective.
