AS's aren't as important as A2 predictions, so I think if you can be predicted at least AAB, and your AS grades are within reasonably short distance from these grades, then I don't see why resits should hinder you :smile:

yep this has been discussed before, it depends on where you apply. For example, at Oxford they are far more interested in your GCSE grades. Their reasoning is that not everyone has sat AS levels (some people do it the old fashioned way of both exams in the second year), but it is assumed everyone has sat GCSEs.

I resat one of my AS modules with my A2 exams (didnt do my any favours - I did worse!) You dont do your resits until after your UCAS form has been handed in so technically the universities could be completely oblivious to you having resat an exam.
