Is UK never gonna bring back white coats?
Ik it seems kinda trivial but whenever I'm watching something medical related from other countries, I see white coats and I'm kinda sad that I'll never get to wear it... 
We could always just make it short sleeved, for example india uses short sleeve as well.

It's not likely in the foreseeable future. Personally, I think short sleeved white coats look silly and I wouldn't like to wear one (though there is at least one teaching hospital in London which uses them).
Also, the white coats they wear on TV make them look like models in stock photographs (especially since they also use poundland stethoscopes).
