Applying to different courses :|

Hii,
Im kind of going round in circles looking at courses and universities and trying to write my personal statement...
its starting to look likely that im going to apply to different courses, im really interested in both french and anthropology, and the courses/places that i really love are-
bath- french and european studies
durham- anthropology
oxford- anthropology and archaeology
Edinburgh- anthropology and french
And then there are a few others which i like which are either french or anthropology, but theres very few places which do combined courses.

How much of a disadvantage would i be at if i were to have to write a personal statement based around 2 different subjects- do you think this will have a serious impact on my chances?

Im just having a lot of trouble choosing!

Thankyouu, Alice xxxxx

Hi, what about doing anthropology with french as an elective or on the side through evening or dinner time classes? You could also try and do the erasmus scheme so you could develop your French without a degree in it.

At Durham, at least, have you considered the Combined Honours course so you could do both?
