Cambridge uni- HSPS

Hi, I have received A*A*A* in my alevels in history, politics and RS and am looking to apply to Cambridge next year for HSPS. However, I received shocking gcses (by Cambridge’s standards), with 1 A* 1A 4Bs and 4Cs. I worked really hard to improve my grades which I did, but I am afraid that I won’t even get a look in when applying for HSPS, such a competitive course. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you.

cambridge are very holistic, you wont be disadvantaged by your gcses, especially with your achieved a levels

Thank you very much! I don’t have serious extraneous circumstances which is the let down, I just really struggled with them. Hopefully they can see that I am good within this specialised area.
