Can I change my accomodation for MMU

Hi,
I have booked Birley Warde townhouse accommodation for Manchester Metropolitan University but I now regret my choice and wish I chose Cambridge halls or Briarfields. Reason being that I want more socialising and I don’t think Birley townhouses are as sociable as Cambridge or briarfields halls. Also, I am planning To study business, which is closer to Cambridge halls than it is to Birley.

Would it be possible to find someone in Cambridge, Briarfields or cavendish that would prefer to stay in Birley instead?

To be honest, I’d happily pay the difference in additional rent for someone to swap with me and live in my current selected Birley accomodation instead.

Please help. I really do feel sad about making this decision ☹️😢

You'll realise when you end up there, that this won't make a huge amount of difference. You can create whatever social life you wish, regardless of where you are living. Meet with people in societies and find someone on your course to go to a party with and create friendships from there.
