Further maths A level in gap year

Hi, I have finished a levels on Physics, Chemistry and Maths and achieved 3A*s. I am planning to take a gap year due to status situations and look forward to enrol into further maths course. I wanna apply to top end results group unis (imperial/Cambridge) for aerospace engineering but these unis highly desires A level further maths. Where and how can I find this course and how can I approve to unis that I’m doing a level FM during the gap year?

Well done for the grades you achieved! When you fill out your UCAS application, you can set grades as predicted and achieved. For Oxbridge, they have generic engineering courses that specialise in the 3rd year. So for example at Oxford, you would study engineering science and you can specialise in aerospace engineering.

Thanks for that ), do you think Cambridge/imperial will accept if I’m taking further maths course privately, due to reasoning of enhancing and keeping up my maths skills towards and also for the engineering course itself? Will I no longer be disadvantaged like other further maths students by doing this?

You already meet the criteria for Cambridge and imperial with 3 A*s and no further maths. You should be able to get in even without further maths as your grades meet the criteria. It also depends on how you perform in the interviews and application.
