Hi, thanks for being helpful to students like us @GANFYD

I am an international students, will still be age 17 (Sep 2022) and considering Dundee as a shortlist. Would value your views

1. iGCSE: Advanced Mathematics - A*, Extended Mathematics - A*, Chemistry - A*, Biology - A*, Physics - A*, Computer Science - A*, French - A, Eng Literature - A and Eng Language - B
2. IB Predicted: Chemistry HL - 7, Biology HL-7, Mathematics AA HL -7, Economics SL -7, English SL - 6, French - 5
3. UCAT: 2600, SJT: Band 2

Is this university a good shortlist and the chances of getting an interview call?

does Dundee have a UCAT cut off?
@becausethenight and @GANFYD
Hi my stats are below, any advice would be appreciated

GCSEs: 9999999776 {6 was in English language lol
AS: AAA

Alevel predicted: A*A*A* bio chem math

UCAT: 2550 Band 2

This is my current list:
1- Brighton and sussex
2- UCl
3- Leeds (expecting my as AAA gives me full marks for gcse point system)
4-imperial or Exeter but leaning more towards imperial cause Exeter I think won’t invite me with a score of 90

What do you think?

Thanks a lot in advance guys

They do not say but do say "previous academic attainment will also be taken into account". Info I have from a few years ago says they score degree and A levels 60/40 for standard degrees and PhD and Hons degree 50/50 for those with a PhD

And across Scotland, they are being told to cut a further 33 places for RUK for 2022 entry, though have not yet said which how that reduction will apply to individual unis!

Hi! I'm a Scottish applicant who's applying for Dundee uni this year and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on my application.

I have 5 As and 1 B in highers, and predicted AAB in advanced higher. I have all necessary subjects.

Im a widening access student, but im unsure how Dundee handles this, but hopefully some sort of UCAT help? I scored 2630 (+10% is 2893, which i know some unis do, I cant imagine they'd lower minimum by 10% in Dundee though, which is what Glasgow does), but unfortunately band 3 SJT, which I think could be the biggest letdown for my application. Strong personal statement +reference too.

Thank you for any replies!
