Hello, I'm currently in year 13 studying Biology, Computer Science, Digital technology and Welsh baccalaureate and was thinking of applying to medicine after doing a gap year while doing Chemistry in the year. I did not study Chemistry in year 12.
Would medical schools consider me for admission if I do this? Or are a-levels done like this not accepted?

You can apply to Newcastle and UEA A100 and Manchester and Dundee A104 courses with the A levels you have. Otherwise, most med schools will accept chem done in a gap year, provided you met the minimum requirements (AAA+) in your first sitting of your first 3 A levels and then achieved at least an A (or A*, depending on minimum requirements) in chem in a Yr 14, but I would suggest contacting them to confirm this before an application.
