Conflicted over Solent

I've been doing my uni application recently. I got an unconditional offer from Solent for film and television and while it does seem like a nice uni with cheap accommodation my main problem with it is that it's only around 30 miles away from where I live so I feel like I would still basically be in the same location and a lot of people I know are going to uni's far away. My other choices are Bath Spa, UCA, Essex and Portsmouth. Should I aim to go to a uni more far away or would Solent be good choice?

Honestly it depends on you personally - would you rather be far away?
Personally, I only applied to universities that were 1 hour or more away from where I'd been living previously because I wanted a totally new experience, but many people want to stay close enough to visit family, so it's down to preference really!
