Writing a personal statement when transferring uni's
Right now I'm on a gap year and in the process of transferring uni's from doing Film and TV at Solent to doing a more media focused course at another uni. I'm doing my application through UCAS and want to apply to multiple uni's in case any reject me and I just wondered how I would rewrite my personal statement. Should I mention my previous experiences at Solent and why I want to leave?

Only if it's directly relevant to your motivation for the new subject.
Many people changing subject don't make reference to it at all. Unis can see your previous study listed in your education section, beyond that it's not much interest to them.
