Exam centre genuine?

I’m retaking an Alevel as a private Candidate and just wanna make sure I’m not being scammed. Please help.
Has anyone done any exams through private exam centre- best grade education

If they charge you just using them to find you an exam centre and you then also have to pay the exam fee on top, its a scam.
Just phone local 6th Forms and colleges and ask to speak to the exams officer - this is usually easy to arrange.

Campbell Harris College, takes around 2,000 Private Candidates each year. They are located on 185 High Street Kensington, London, W8 6SH. Just a few minutes walk from High Street Kensington tube station.

You pay £350 for each A-Level subject and it includes all the fees too. :smile:

Also, you can do any options and exam boards from Edexcel, AQA, OCR and WJEC.

The exams take place at:

St Mary Abbots Centre
Vicarage Gate
London W8 4HN

This venue is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from Campbell Harris (off Kensington Church Street).

Unfortunately I’m in Manchester so places I can do are Bolton and Manchester. Even Preston works but I can’t seem to tell if any are genuine. Does anyone know any exam centres taht accept private candidates around there?

yepp!!! checked them out. called around too. they were what i was applying through first but i whoever was on duty to pick up calls was useless before. at last hope i tried again and thankfully got a sweet person and she helped me out.
