What to pack for moving into student accommodation

So with move in just around the corner I thought I would share a list of things I packed to move into student accommodation.

Bedroom
Duvet ( Check whether you need a single or double )
Duvet cover
Sheet
Pillows
Mattress protector
Laundry basket
Decorative bits like photographs ( Can help your accommodation feel more homely
Fairy lights/ Lamp ( Isn't essential but can help make your room feel cosy)

Bathroom
Towels
Hand soap
Toiletries
Dressing gown
Sliders

Kitchen
Plates
Knives
Forks
Spoons
Bowls
Oven tray
Pans x2
Tea towel
Can opener
Cups

I then went to the shop once I moved in to pick up the things I had forgotten and to do food shopping. We are really lucky at YSJ to be surrounded by shops. Roughly 15 minutes from campus there is a Morrisons, Lidl, ASDA, B&M and a home bargains. Perfect place to pick up food or home bits.
