Home fees

I’m originally from Brazil, but I have a Portuguese citizenship. I moved to Scotland in January 2020 to work in a care home in Aberdeen. I worked there for 2 years and then travelled around Europe for 6 months. At the moment I’m studying to pass the A level exams May/June 2023 and I intend to start university September 2023 as well.
My question is: would I still qualify to pay home fee at university considering the 6 months gap in the 3 years residency period?

Every little help is much appreciated!
If you have settled status you will pay home fees anyway and you will be entitled to student finance as a migrant worker. But i would advise you not to keep absence in the country unless you wouldn't be able to convert your status from pre settled to settled
I don’t have settled status at the moment only pre settled, would that be a problem?

No,But to be able to have maintenance loan you have to be able to be a migrant worker.
